Vermont Republican Party Releases Statement On Vermont Health Connect

MONTPELIER – The Vermont Republican Party strongly supports the Vermont Republican Legislative Caucus, in their plea to the Administration, if Health Care Connect is not fully operational by December 1, 2013, to implement the safety provision in the law so that Vermonters can have continued health insurance coverage, or to call a special session of the legislature to fix the problems with implementation of the Exchange. Vermont Republicans support providing affordable access by all Vermonters to quality health care, and if Health Care Connect is not up and running in time, it will jeopardize many Vermonters’ access to the health care they need.

Vice Chair Deborah Bucknam added: “We applaud the Vermont Republican Caucus for their efforts to bring this issue before the public and to be pro-active in urging the Shumlin administration to protect Vermonters if Health Care Connect doesn’t live up to its promises.”

thank you Shumlin! I am forced to leave my MVP plan – buy another for the same price – with less coverage. How much did the Insurance companies contribute to your campaign- or Cayman Island account you crooked SOB.
