It’s been a busy month! Thank you all so much for your recent support for me and our party. I very much appreciate the many phone calls and e-mails of support that I have received since my election on November 9th. It is an honor to be the Chair of the VTGOP and I am very optimistic about the future of the Republican Party in Vermont. We have a lot of good things in the works and we have much to be thankful for.
Welcome Winter Gala, with Gov. Chris Christie
Our Welcome Winter Gala is going to be a hit. It sold out a couple weeks ago and we could not be more excited by the energy this event has generated. It promises to be the most successful fundraiser we have held in recent memory. It has brought many independents and disenchanted Republicans back in contact with our party. I would like to give special thanks to our Lt. Gov. Phil Scott, Rep. Heidi Scheuermann, and the whole team who have spent countless hours making sure this event is a success. I would also like to thank all of the supporters who are proving to us everyday that there is a wave of change coming in Vermont.
Lt. Governor Phil Scott invites you to join him in writing a new chapter for Vermont’s children. Phil will be donating over 150 books to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Vermont this holiday season.
Be a part of the story by bringing a new or gently used book with you to the Welcome Winter Gala on Wednesday, December 11. Please try to choose a book appropriate for kids ages 10 – 16. Thank you for helping to inspire Vermont’s next generation of leaders!
Our recruiting team is travelling all over the state and we are making significant progress. Recently, people from all over Vermont have been sending us a contacts they think will make great candidates and we have been meeting with them. Keep it up! If you know of a qualified candidate for the Vermont House or Vermont Senate, forward their names and contact information to Brent Burns at email@example.com. We must restore balance and common sense in Montpelier for the sake of all of Vermonters. Recruiting outstanding candidates from all over the state is key to doing that.
Another way we are growing our organization is by establishing a chapter of Young Republicans in Vermont. We are on the way to gathering the 75 names it takes to establish a chapter. If you know a Young Republican (18-40 years old), forward them this email and have them follow this link to sign up: http://bit.ly/IXi9dP
